It's not easy for an unknown,
non-fiction writer from a small publisher to get a
full-length review of his book. Its even more difficult for
an unknown, non-fiction writer to get a full-length book
review that is enthusiastically positive toward the book.
I've been fortunate. So far, four establishments have
published complete, positive book reviews on Thunder from a Clear Sky:
Texas Hill Country Magazine in their summer 2005
issue, Kirkus Discoveries in August 2006, the
Clarksville, Tennessee Civil War Roundtable in December
2006, and the Civil War Books & Authors Weblog by
