I just purchased a copy of the Indiana Legion: A Civil War Militia by John P. Etter. As far as I know, it is the first book on the Indiana Legion. It is an overview book and has about 7 pages on the Newburgh Raid. As far as I can tell, no new information on the raid, but every little bit is welcome. I have decided to pick up the book as a future book review selection. I will announce later when my review of this new work will be posted. If you want to check the book out look here.
