Well, its not exactly about Adam Johnson, but he is mentioned in the song. Mr. Terry Warren and the Border Ruffian Band have recorded a song called Rebel Partisan that documents the exploits of Jake Bennett's raid on Owensboro late in the war. Bennett was one of Johnson's earliest recruits and a likely member of the Newburgh raiders. I learned about this song from Nancy Hitt who I met at the Sacramento appearance this year.
